For T-Shirt longevity. When washing:

  • Do not use bleach.
  • Wash in Warm or Cold water (Less than 90F or 30C).
  • Wash inside out.
  • Tumble dry is acceptable, however allowing to air-dry is best for most clothing.

How to choose a Casual T-Shirt size.

  • Lay out a t-shirt (As flat as possible) that fits the way you want this to fit.
  • Measure across the chest, where the sleeves are sewn to the body of the shirt.
  • That is your t-shirt width.
  • Now choose your t-shirt. 

A second option, if you know the circumference of your chest, is to add 4 to 6 inches to that measurement.  My comfortably loose, but not “hanging” casual t-shirts are 4.5 inches larger than my chest, but everyone likes to wear them differently.
