Return policy for products with Item numbers beginning with “FF-“

Under what circumstances are returns accepted?

  • Item is received damaged.
  • Item is received defective.
  • Incorrect item is shipped.
  • Item is unwanted.

May I return a mattress?  Mattresses are non-returnable if opened.  Mattresses may only be returned if the package is damaged upon delivery, and the delivery is refused.


How long do I have to request a return?

  • Unwanted Items: 25 Calendar days.
  • Damaged/Defective/Incorrect Items: 5 Calendar days.

How long do I have to return my purchase? Customers have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery until Returns must be received by the processing center. 


How do I initiate a return?

  • Please contact us at cs@rlmerchandise.comwith the following information.
  • Product/Item number or Order number.
  • Reason for return – Damaged/Defective/Incorrect item or Unwanted?
  • If physically damaged, please include a photo if possible. This will greatly increase our chances when filing a grievance with the shipping carrier.

How long will it take to receive the refund? Funds for returns are credited back to the Customer within 5 business days following the item being received and inspected at the processing center.  Refunds can only be credited back to the payment method used for the initial purchase.

Damaged or Defective Orders. - Visible damage to the package upon delivery: 

  • Please refuse the delivery if the package is so severely damaged that you are positive the contents inside are damaged.
  • Once delivery has been refused with the shipper, you will have the option to cancel the order for a full refund, or have a replacement shipped to you at no additional cost.

Damaged or Defective Orders. - Damage not discovered until the package was opened.

  • Please notify us with 5 calendar days if your order is delivered with concealed damaged or, in the case of electronics, it was not discovered to be defective until you plugged it in and attempted to turn it on.
  • Please include a detailed description of the damages or defects along with any additional supporting documents, like part numbers, and pictures, emailed to cs@rlmerchandise.com.

Additional Information: Unwanted Items.

  • Refunds for Unwanted items: Please understand that although your purchase may not have incurred a shipping charge on the invoice, shipping charges were paid by R&L Merchandise to the shipping carrier.
  • Refund for Unopened products:The cost of original shipping charged by the Shipping Carrier to deliver the purchase to the Customer's address will be deducted from the Purchase price when the refund is processed.  Also, return shipping will be paid for by the Customer.
  • Refund for Opened products:In addition to the shipping charged to and from the Customer's address, a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the refund.

Undelivered Packages:

In the event any of the situations below occur, and the delivery is unable to be completed, the cost of original shipping plus return shipping to the warehouse, and a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

  • Orders that are refused at the delivery address.
  • Orders that are undelivered due to an incorrect address being entered at the time of checkout.
  • Orders that are undelivered due to a physical impediment at the property that prevents the Delivery Driver from safely approaching the delivery point.
